As an authorized Mercedes-Benz Vans dealer, it’s easy for G. Lambert & Co to determine the trade-in value for a Mercedes vehicle. But for a different brand, it’s much more complex.
For this reason, Lambert decided to use the JP.cars software.
“It’s important for us to be able to quickly determine the price for trade-in vehicles of a different brand. It’s crucial that our pricing is correct compared to the competition and how we want to position ourselves in the market as an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer. JP.cars offers the possibility to take this into account in our pricing,” says Stijn Tyvaert, Manager Used Vans at Lambert.
In addition to valuations, Lambert also uses the software to manage the pricing of their current stock.
Stijn: “The software indicates which vehicles are priced too high or too low, compared to our protocol. This gives us an indication of our position in the market; if we want to sell certain vehicles faster and increase our turnover rate, we know at what prices we need to list these vehicles.”
